Neglected child and orphanage foundation (NCOF) Uganda is a faith-based, interdenominational,
Non-governmental organization committed to providing care and support to the Neglected children
and orphans across Uganda.
With a Christ-centered approach, NCOF Uganda seeks to nature these children into empowered
individuals of significance, deeply rooted in love, integrity and Godliness. We believe in
transforming lives by offering comprehensive care that addresses their physical, emotional, and
spiritual needs, ensuring they grow in a loving environment that feels like home.
NCOF Uganda was founded in 2017 by Pastor Mwesige Araali
Deogratias of Mountain of the Lord Ministries, driven by a deep compassion for the growing number of neglected children and orphans abandoned in communities. Pastor Araali saw children left without food, shelter, or care, wandering the streets and facing a harsh reality where they were deprived of the basic love and protection that every child deserves.
Moved by this painful reality, Pastor Araali took action, beginning with small
acts of care that grew into the establishment of NCOF Uganda. His vision was simple: to create homes where these children could experience safety, love, and the chance for a better life; things they had never known before.
Today, NCOF Uganda continues to build on this vision, providing vital support to children who are victims of neglect and orphanhood. The challenges of child neglect and orphanhood remain widespread across Uganda, and NCOF Uganda is committed to ensuring that no child in these situations is left
behind.
Child neglect, which is a form of abuse, occurs when caregivers fail to meet a child’s basic needs, such as proper supervision, healthcare, clothing, shelter, and emotional support. Children born to young mothers are especially at risk, and the impact of neglect can be severe, affecting a child’s emotional, social, and health development, particularly if it happens before the age of two.
An orphaned child is one who has lost one or both parents, leaving them
without the care and love that is essential for healthy growth. At NCOF
Uganda, we are dedicated to making sure that these children receive the care and support they need, giving them the chance to thrive in an environment where they are valued and given the opportunity to become contributing members of society.
NCOF Uganda believes that every child, regardless of their circumstances,
deserves a life filled with dignity, love, and care. We are here to ensure that no child is left behind, and that each one has the chance to grow up with the support they need to build a better tomorrow.
At NCOF Uganda, every child is given an opportunity to heal and thrive enveloped by love and care from dedicated staff, matrons, and volunteers. We strive to ensure no child feels abandoned or un loved, instead, they find joy and comfort in an extended family that always stands by them.
Guided by a calling to serve, we aim to extend hope and uplift lives by providing food, clean water, shelter, and clothing to children in need across Kampala, Uganda.

Our Uganda-based charitable organization is committed to the idea that education is the key that separates a life of opportunity from one of hardship. In Uganda, there is a strong correlation between the lack of education for children who are at risk and an increase in crime, HIV/AIDS, poverty, and mortality.
As a Ugandan nonprofit, we sincerely think that compassion and love are the key differentiators between a life of opportunity and one of hardship. In Uganda, a rise in crime, worsening poverty, and higher death rates are all closely correlated with vulnerable children's lack of access to certain basic necessities.
All children should have access to clothing and other necessities for their well-being, as well as safe, hygienic, and comfortable housing.
Ugandan orphans are seemingly endangered people in today’s world. Sponsoring a Ugandan orphan is the first step to saving the next generation!
